Choose and book your slot for Emma and/or Rob to capture your holding hands impression mould.  A £60.00 deposit is payable to secure the appointment, this is deductable from your final payment for the cast upon collection.  Please follow the checkout process and include your telephone number when prompted.

The impression mould making process is quick and simple, we use our very own skin safe, dental grade fast setting alginate to capture the moulds.  

Rings: you can keep on your rings as these too will be captured for the plaster cast.  

False and Gel nails:  will not be ruined in the impression mould.

What to expect:

Your appointment slot will be for 30 mins. 

Upon arrival, we will discuss how you want your holding hands pose, the colour you would like for your finished cast and if you would like to add a display plinth and/or engraved plaque.  

You will rub in a thin layer of barrier cream on your skin (we use E45 or Vaseline, it's not strictly necessary if you prefer not to).  This aids for easy removal of your hands from the impression mould and also helps to stop little hairs from sticking into the alginate whilst the mould is being created.  

We will make up the alginate mix and you will immerse your clasped hands into the mix.  You will be holding hands for around 40 seconds to 1 minute in the alginate mixture whilst it gently sets around your hands.  

Once set, you can easily remove your hands from the impression mould.

We may capture 2 impression moulds of you and your loved one holding hands.  

That's it for the mould making!  

Leave the rest to us, where we will do the next stage of filling the moulds with plaster, leaving them to set, after which we will remove the plaster casts from the mould.  We will work on any imperfections and then leave to thoroughly dry.  Drying time takes a couple of weeks. We will then finish your cast in the colour of your choice and your finished cast (and any chosen plinth and engraved plaque) will be ready for you to collect anytime during 8:30am until 5pm on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th February.

We are on Maylite Trading Estate - behind Baby base.  WR6 6PQ.  When you drive onto the estate Baby base is on your left.  Just keep going into the small estate and turn left after you have passed the Baby base building.  The large green building that is then in front of you is ours, please park up the right side if you can (where there will be other cars) and then use the front door up the 'slope' on the left and ring the bell.
