This stylish shadowbox frame is made in a pine wooden moulding with an oak veneer finish. The beauty of a veneer finish is that the lovely woodgrain effect is consistant with no 'knots' that we get with natural wooden finish frames.  All of our frames are made from sustainable sources.  

The frame can be wall hung, or can be free-standing on a shelf or cabinet for example.  Fixings come with the frame for wall hanging as well as assembly instructions.  You can choose to hang the frame in portrait or landscape layout when you assemble the frame.

FRAME SPECIFICATION
Inside depth of frame for your objects is 38mm (3.8cm / 1.5").  Please note this frame cannot be made deeper.

The front of the frame surround is 2.1cm (0.82") wide.  The sides of the frame measure 5.2cm (2.04").

Front Mount card can be removed if required, allowing for extra display space.  The frame's inner box is made in natural, light obeche wood.

Choose from a selection of standard sizes and insert colours.

Frames are made with glass fronts upto and including size 12x12". Acrylic/Styrene fronts are used for larger sizes (detailed below) - acrylic looks just as good as glass and keeps the frame safe and lightweight for wall hanging. 9x20", 11x15", 12x15”, 12x16" and the 20x60cm (love frame) have the option to choose glass instead of acrylic for a little extra cost.

Choose your insert colours. The Front Mount is the surround of the display area (the 'cut out'/aperture section), the Backing Card is where your objects are placed.

HOW TO FIX YOUR ITEMS
There are a number of options (none of which we supply, we are supplying you with the frame and fixings only), here are some helpful suggestions for you: glue (permanent and semi-permanent), glue 'dots' (available in permanent and semi-permanent options), double-sided sticky velcro (can be bought in tape or dot/circle form), tacks (the backing card is 1.2mm thick and behind that there is a 2mm thick MDF board - so you can tack/nail your item into place if needed).

FRAME SIZES & DISPLAY AREAS (remember you can display in landscape or portrait layout)
Choose your frame based on the display area size you need.  Lay out the items you want to frame in the display arrangement you require, then measure for length x width x depth display area you are going to need for your items.  This frame has an inner depth of 3.8cm - do ensure this will be deep enough for your items!  When you have your measurements, please choose the frame size you need based on the below mentioned display area measurements and mountcard insert colours from the available options.
