Our kits are really simple to use and you will achieve a great result, creating a wonderful keepsake to show your baby when they are all grown up.  You can show them just how big Mummy’s bump got when they were developing inside you, pretty amazing hey!

You will need either your partner, a family member or a best friend to cast your belly for you.  Before you begin, you will need a thin layer of a barrier cream over your skin - this helps to stop any little hairs from sticking to the plaster bandages.  We recommend Petroleum Jelly - and this is supplied in our Gift and Deluxe Gift kit.   You need only sit comfortably on a chair whilst the modroc bandages are being gently laid over your pregnant belly.  You may decide to be creative and replicate your chest area too, or hold your hands on your belly or chest, it’s entirely up to you and of course whatever you feel comfortable with.  

When the plaster has dried, your cast is simply lifted up off your body and then left to thoroughly dry out for a few hours.  You may choose to leave your cast as it is, or gently sand it smooth and then decorate it.  The entire process of the casting only takes 25-30 minutes.
